FTI provides FPT Cloud Connect for Sendo
In December 2020, FPT Telecom International signed a contract with Sen Do Technology Joint Stock Company (Sendo) to provide and support AWS Direct Connect service with FPT Cloud Connect service.
Sen Do is a popular and rapidly growing e-commerce platform in Vietnam. Therefore, Sen Do needs a fast and stable transmission line to support its operations, especially at times of major discount events of the year for Sen Do customers such as discount 11.11 or 12.12. .
AWS Direct Connect is a cloud service solution that makes establishing a dedicated network connection from a customer's premises to an AWS server system easy, fast, and secure.
If using the AWS Direct Connect service, FPT Telecom International will establish a separate connection between AWS and FPT's Data Center, greatly reducing network costs for Sen Do, increasing bandwidth, and providing a better user experience with more consistent network usage than Internet-based connections.
The Direct Connect service requires a direct connection from Vietnam to Singapore using a leased line over a shielded underground cable. During the implementation of the Direct Connect service with AWS, AWS supported solution consulting with FPT Telecom International to get the optimal solution for the transmission lines and save costs up to 50% for Sen Do.
With FPT Cloud Connect service provided by FPT Telecom International, directly connecting Sendo with AWS cloud services can meet all scaling requirements in a short time and at any time, using payment method “Pay as you go”.
