How FPT CBR works?

Snapshots and Backups

Automate creation and management (including retention and deletion) of AWS-native snapshots for Amazon EC2, RDS and EFS
Achieve image-based backups tiered to Amazon S3 object storage. Dynamic workers* automatically instantiate and terminate these operations
Backups can tier to Amazon S3 Glacier and S3 Glacier Deep Archive to meet retention and compliance requirements
Amazon VPC settings are backed up to the Veeam Backup for AWS appliance database and automatically copied to Amazon S3.

*Deploying Veeam workers into a dedicated backup account (the same as where the appliance is deployed) separates your backup operations from your production operations.

Snapshot replicas
